Schubeler has developed the Secure Fan Fix system, to provide you a simple and secure way to mount the edf unit in the fuselage. The system consists of three parts, two carbon fiber flanges and a bracket that facilitates the precise alignment of the flanges. The temple is right in front of a 180 ° angle to the fixing of the flanges. Thus, each impeller, you fix  to the fan system is provided a secure mount, without any adjustments. The Secure Fan Fix frames are precision CNC machined from 3 mm CFRP plates, so a consistent quality is ensured.

A few tips to Installation in the Fuse:

  The Secure Fan Fix system is best glued flush with the trailing edge of the fan casing. So the suspension is done closest to the focus of the Impeller. This type of mounting is done so that the impeller with the hard bumps in the hull rotates freely. It is important that the mounted impeller is held only by the mounting forces of the four mounting screws. Each additional force, for example by a too rigid suspended inlet, or to a close fit between the impeller and inlet must be avoided. This can deform the shell and get to the start of the impeller, which can create a resonance that makes a drive without booting the blade start impossible.
